Syria thanks India for taking stand against Turkey

"India has taken the fight to Turkey. It is considering reducing business with Turkey and has openly criticized Turkey’s adventures in Syria. And in doing so it appears it has won a friend in Syria"

Syrian ambassador to India Riad Abbas has appreciated India for standing up against Turkey over its recent aggressions in Syria. “Syrian government & people highly appreciate India's stand that it is against any foreign invasion on Syria & against Turkish aggression on Syria. We look forward to enhance relations with India that has strong voice in international arena” He stated in a statement given to ANI.

Pakistan has just a few allies to count by its side. China has a history of backing Pakistani propaganda against Kashmir. And Chinese have a very specific agenda behind this. They want to keep India engaged with Pakistan, in a way creating resistance in India’s growth story. But with increasing Indian clout in the world, the Chinese have begun relenting even if slightly. However, the recent developments in Kashmir have brought out some allies of Pak in open. Topping the list is Turkey.

Turkey has openly come out in support of Pakistan over recent developments in Kashmir. It has time and again reiterated its support for the Islamic nation. However, India was not going to play ‘soft power’ this time. India has taken the fight to Turkey. It is considering reducing business with Turkey and has openly criticized Turkey’s adventures in Syria. And in doing so it appears it has won a friend in Syria.
